Sample videos

Short clips from the datasets, one page each.

These are 6-second synthetic CCTV and drone clips that show the events our datasets cover. Each page says what the clip shows and which dataset it belongs to.

    About the clips

    What these clips are

Every frame in these clips is generated, and no real people appear in them. Where a page shows original footage next to a clip, that footage is the empty or unedited scene the event was generated into, so you can see the same camera view with and without the event.

The labels sold with the datasets are YOLO and COCO files. The coloured boxes, scores and captions you see drawn in some clips are the output of a trained detector, added to the video for illustration. They show what a model reports on the scene and are not the label files themselves.

Two of the datasets include video: the shoplifting dataset has video sequences with person boxes, pose keypoints and captions, and the fall dataset covers collapses on camera. Beyond the catalogue, we make custom video on the customer's own cameras, generated into an empty frame of your view. Browse the dataset catalogue, read about custom data, or see our guide to video datasets for computer vision.

    Questions

    Sample videos: common questions

    Are these real CCTV recordings?

No. Every clip on these pages is synthetic, and no real people appear in any of them. The scenes are generated, including the people and the events.

    Can I download the clips?

The clips are for viewing. The free shoplifting sample on Kaggle includes 8 video clips, and licensed datasets include their video where the dataset page lists it.

Can you make clips from my cameras?

Yes. Custom video datasets are generated into your own camera views, with boxes, tracking IDs and event times, and are quoted per project.

Show us the alarm your model keeps getting wrong.

Send five frames from your cameras. We reply within one working day with the fastest way to fix it — a catalogue dataset, a stress test or a custom pack.
